ZAPYA- Your One Stop Sharing App

It has been a while since we talked. Don’t say it I know. And am the one who does most of the talking ..I will try to keep everything precise here because I know time is not on our side, but I really hope the best comes out of all this! So we’ll have this talk my way. A shot of it every other single time we meet here. May this be a place that can build us. And ours because we aren’t in this world for ourselves.
So today we end it at that!
Many are the times I have had people ask me what apps I use on my phone. My answers shock many because most of the apps are not apps they’ve come across or even heard of but today we set of on a journey to show you that and much more.!
To those who have asked, wondered why I don’t use the common apps most of the times. You’re welcome on board.
Our app today..  is ZAPYA …

ZAPYA

This sharing app is a peer to peer sharing app… short form>> it’s like a sharing platform where both of you connect to one network, say a Wi-Fi hotspot enabling you to send files or rather share files to and from!

Why Zapya

I wouldn’t just sit by this screen for an hour plus if this app wasn’t something worth my time.
Which is why I am going to tell you why this route…You probably have tried XENDER , SHARE IT, FLASH SHARE, ANYSHARE,DUKTO.. the list could go on. I have tried the same apps too. For a good span of time enough to judge their credibility.

Here goes my list …

  • Availability(cross-platform) … In your day to day activities, someone has probably asked you “uko na flash-share” (Do you have flash share).. To me I always expect the question. The app is quite common and appeals to large masses. But, our apple friends kinda miss out here plus the Ubuntu people and the Windows users. Zapya is like the best bridge to users with different tastes..Which is why it’s available on Android, Mac OS, Windows pc, Windows Mobile ,iPhone OS ! Isn’t this what y’all need!

  • Speed – Who really wants that movie to delay his timetable due to a speed lag! I don’t! Zapya packs a support for 2.4GHz for all mobiles but if your mobile supports 5Hz. All you need to do is just enable it and boom you’ll be on that bus with all the movies your friend had for you. My friends or people I have helped with the app can attest to it.

  • Language – For my brothers and sisters beyond borders. The app comes in Chinese, English, Russian and Spanish. Just more good news, right?

  • Wireless Transfer- The sharing protocol is Wi-Fi with much more speed than the normal USB. I once sent 16GB of data and the speed was impressive.

  • QR code scan- The steps to launch a connection doesn’t anything much rather than just a, Create Group and Join group simple user interface but Zapya comes with much more! You just scan the code to the device you want to connect to and boom y’all in.

  • My BEST PART .. – The app allows more than 3 users or devices to connect to one hotspot and thereafter you’re all able to share data in whatever direction. 


Cons 


  • Connection issues- It happens sometimes. One device lags and takes time to connect to the created group.. To sort this out.


  1. You can clear app cache. 
  2. Restart the app on the device creating the group.
  3. Restart both phones and try again…A computer can also be restarted. 
  4. If all the above don’t walk try uninstalling and installing the app again or just get an up to date version of the app.


  • Device lags- The apps works well with devices that have their ram free and not so much occupied. So if your gadget has many apps running, just try clearing them and see what happens. The lag always manifests itself in lack of speed or dropping the connection after a few minutes.
